Men's Shed

The Yackandandah Men's Shed enjoy helping other community groups such as sports clubs, kindergarten, schools. We also help individuals with their projects.

What We Do

Some of us make things out of wood or metal. Some members just help when called and some just arrive at 10.00am when we all sit down around the table for a chat and a laugh over tea and biscuits.

Members are welcome to work on their own project or to help with one of our many group projects.

We are able to train members with new skills and the use of specialised machines such as welders, planers, power saws and thicknessers.

We have a large workshop with all types of tools and machines where we repair furniture, or make special projects like garden beds, shelving and cupboards. We can weld broken equipment.

We try to use recycled materials wherever possible.

Who Are We?

We are blokes of all ages over 18, with some in their 80’s. We have facilities to cater for men with disabilities.

Open Days

We are open each Tuesday from 9.00am until mid-afternoon.
